Delightful Dozen meets Happy Watercolor

How's everyone today?  Hopefully good - I think it's a great day to make it a GREAT day!

Today's card is another one that we created at last month's Card Cafe.  And it's super easy.  We stamped the watercolor image from Happy Watercolor in three different colors - Pistachio Pudding (that kinda sounds good as I write this!), Pool Party, and Crisp Cantaloupe.  One thing to note - be sure to really clean your stamp good between colors, or with these light colors you could end up with a muddy color.  To ensure that my stamp is REALLY clean, I clean it on my Stamp-n-Scrub, then stamp it off several times on scrap paper.  This is really important if you haven't cleaned your stamp scrubber in a while.

Clean your stamp scrubber?  How???

Simply pull the pads out of the container, and run them under warm soapy water, and give them a good scrubbing with your hand.  Do this until the water runs clear!  It might take a while, especially if your scrubber gets a lot of use.

Once you have those watercolor splotches stamped, stamp the flower image with Versamark and use some black embossing powder, and heat it up.

This card goes together super quick - you just layer things up and pop it all on a Pistachio Pudding card base.

I'm a little smitten with that black dsp from Sweet Sorbet ( Sale-a-Bration).  But a little bit goes a long way!

Alright - I've got some other projects I need to get working on....and laundry!  Then I need to figure out what we're having for supper - I wonder what kind of fish I have in the freezer....it is Ash Wednesday afterall....

Make it a great day everyone!
