Creation Station: Flower Patch!

Hey, Hey, Hey!!!  It's that time again!  C'mon into the Creation Station for your ride on the Inspiration Train!

We've got a group of mighty talented folks ready to show you all you can do with:

- Masks/Stencils
- Flower Patch Stamp Set, Flower Fair dies
- and garden inspired cards and creations!

Up first for my projects, a little useage with our new Hearts & Stars decorative masks....I chose the stars...

I simply laid the mask over my card and spritzed with some Bermuda Bay Ink diluted in rubbing alcohol.  I let that dry really well before I embossed my sentiment with Crushed Curry embossing powder.  Add a strip of DSP (great use of scraps!) and a few snippets of Washi Tape....Easy Peasy and a great mailer!

Next up!

I used just the Flower Fair dies with some DSP to create a flower.

I stamped the leaf images from Flower Patch onto Typeset DSP for some interest.  Layered all this up with some burlap trim, a little crocheted lace on top of another piece of Typeset DSP.

The background DSP comes from Flashback...I think I'm gonna love this set of papers more than I thought....the catalog doesn't do them justice at all.

Okay...last card!

This time I stamped several of the flowers from Flower Patch in Daffodil Delight.  I stamped the leaves in Coastal Cabana.  The great thing is that you can stamp an entire sheet of flowers and leaves and only make a couple of passes thru the Big Shot.

I layered my sentiment onto a piece of burlap trim that I die cut with the large scallop edgelit.  I like that it just peaks out a little bit - flirting with you kinda!

Everything here is on a base of Typeset DSP that I spritzed with that same Bermuda Bay/alcohol mixer and the Dots mask from Dots & Stripes.

Well....that's all I have for you today, but there is more inspiration right around the corner - head to the next blog by Ilina Crouse and you'll be filling up your brain with ideas galore.  Or put it in reverse to Deborah's creative ingenuity!

I received the Dots and Stripes masks and the Typeset designer paper at Convention. Love the way you combined them for your background. I know what I'll be playing with soon.

Great cards, Jen! I like the addition of the spritzing with the masks for background.
