Hey all!
It's time for another creative round with the Creation Station Design Team!!! This week was are having a free for all.....with all sneak peek goodies from the new Stampin' Up! Annual catalog! And who doesn't love a sneak peek of what's to come....unless it's at your Christmas Presents!
And if that's not enough fun for all of you, we've got some new friends joining our little team! Yay....new inspiration is always a treat. We'd like to welcome Martha Inchley, Dena Rekow and
Sarah Klass! These three exude talent, prepare to be amazed! Also note: Dena Rekow is not participating THIS week bc she is sunning herself in beautiful Hawaii!
So.....let's get this party started..... That card that you see above is created with lots of fun things. One of the Sneak Peek stamp sets is called Sprinkled with Love, and it's a set that helps support Ronald McDonald House charities. That's where the ice cream cone comes from. And here's the deal with this set.....there are hundreds of possibilities - not only is there an ice cream cone, but a cupcake and a tree (with a matching punch!). Plus there are several coordinating sentiments included.
The DSP is so fun and fruity - it's called Cherries on Top - very fitting. I created a chevron stripe using the Chevron Border punch with Watermelon Wonder and Cucumber Crush card stock.
Next up - a set of note cards using all of the new In Colors:
This is another new set - You've Got This. I heat embossed the flowers on water color paper with clear embossing powder. Then colored with an aquapainter. I didn't use Tip Top Taupe for any of the flowers - it didn't seem very "floral colored" to me. So, I used T T Taupe for the card bases and stamped the background image with the same color.
Each card got a strip of new lace ribbon in Tip Top Taupe, and then topped with a strip of cardstock in the same color as the flower.
Well.....that's all I've got for you today - head on down the line to the next fab stamper!
I absolutely love the watercoloured look of the flowers, Jen! And of course who could not like the Sprinkles of Life set? Yummy cupcake :)
