Somedays it's hard to come up with a new card idea, especially with a stamp that you use frequently in the same manner.
Take Regarding Dahlia for example. I {LOVE} the flower in this stamp set. Yet, it seems that every card I make with that flower looks relatively like the card I made the last time I used that flower!
So, I thought today, I'd go for a different look. I didn't color the flower, it's not off to the side of the card. . .
Today, I used it as a BACKGROUND! And I love the way that it turned out.
The bright colors help to add some pizzazz to the background so the card isn't overly dreary.
This card also works for the challenge over at The Paper Players this week. In fact, it works in more ways than one! Can you find them all?

A great way to use that floral image....looks great on the gray too! Love the little photo frame as well as your washi! I need to use my washi...it's feeling neglected! Thanks so much for sharing this and playing with my PP "three spree" challenge!
ReplyDeleteLove the bright spring colors on the gray background with the three butterflies. Great take on the challenge. So glad you joined the Paper Players this week
