Sending Good Thoughts and Petite Petals

Hey!!! I was in the mood for some bright, fun colors today.  It was a little overcast and VERY WINDY here in Iowa.  Which, made me really begin to doubt that spring is ever going to come.  However, I did see some grass that was beginning to green up - which is surprising since we just had snow Monday night!

I'm ready for blue skies and 75 degrees!  And the colors in this card remind me of blue skies and bright red spring tulips....bring them on!

These may not be tulips - but they sure are cute!  My punch finally came in (very popular punch leads to backorders!) and I had to put it to good use right away.

I saw the sketch for this card over at Freshly Made Sketches and decided to play along with their challenge.

I hope that you like what I've done - and in the meantime - If you are experiencing 75 degree temps - could you PLEASE send your weather up to Iowa!

  1. What a cheery and pretty card! I saw some beautiful red tulips while I was out driving around today here in Texas. Hang on! These 70 degree temps will make their way up to you soon!

  2. This card is so good, it would fit right in with the design team's inspirations. Great use of the sketch.
