It's time to start gearing up for Halloween soon! It will be here before we know it. So, let's look at this Halloween card today. It was inspired by a card that was shown at our Stampin' Up! Convention in July. I changed some things up, to make it my own, but the theory is all the same!
I cut my card base from Elegant Eggplant. (A lot of people know I don't LOVE the color purple, but it works well for Halloween, and I can get over it - right??? :) ) Then I cut a circle out of the flipper circle, with the Circle Framelits. To create the spinning bat, you just simply stamp him twice, and die cut each piece with the label die that comes with the Circle Card Thinlits set, then sandwich a piece of thread between the two images and glue them together (back to back). Glue the string to the flipper circle and cover the excess string with another circle framelit.
Here I created a panel for the "inside" from Witches Brew DSP. I actually really like the Summer Starfruit paired with Elegant Eggplant. Pleasantly surprised! Add some washi tape and a sentiment! Top it all off with some gems that I colored black with a Sharpie Marker.....perfection! It's so fun when you open this card and the little bat does his spinning moves! Googly eyes might be in order on this one - cuz how fun would that be???
